President's Message

Welcome everyone:

We decided to start the year off with a bang and feature our Breast Conference at Valley Children’s . We have a great event planned with exciting speakers and vendors with the latest products. We look forward to seeing you. We decided not to raise our price for the seminar and we are offering 5.4 contact hours. This is also an opportunity to connect with other AORN members and network.

We are planning several fun events this year. In the past, your support for our local Chapter has been a blessing. We plan on continuing to serve the community with several partnerships, like our annual Open House in November at Summit Surgical celebrating Perioperative Nurse Week and Food Bank outreach events. We also hope to have some fun along the way too! Perhaps a casino night or wine trip? We are open to suggestions! Our meetings are always the second Wednesday of the month. Check our website (Central San Joaquin Valley AORN or csjvaorn.com ) to keep up with our calendar of events and sign up for the Breast Conference. Bring a friend or someone who is concerned about breast cancer awareness. It’s not just for perioperative nurses. See you there.
