President's Message

Thank you for electing me as your President for the 2013-2014 year! It will be a great honor to serve. We had a great year last year under George Luena. We have grown under his guidance and I hope we will continue this progress.

We must encourage our colleagues to join and participate. Ethel Barrymore stated, “You must learn day by day, year by year, to broaden your horizon. The more things you love, the more you are interested in… the more you have left when anything happens.” It is a great privilege to serve our community, so the more we learn, the better we can handle the changes in technology and the challenges in meeting the rising costs of heal care. Come out and be a part of AORN.

We, your Board and Officers met in August and have great year planned. Hope you will join us for the fun activities and events we will be holding this year! Check this site often for updates. Looking forward to seeing you sometime this year!
